What is transgressive behaviour?

Unwanted transgressive behaviour is any behaviour that causes a person to no longer feel safe and respected because her or his personal boundaries are violated:

  • verbal or physical violence;
  • (cyber)bullying;
  • unwanted sexual behaviour

but also: harassment, stalking, discrimination, hate speech, racism and blackmail.

UCLL sides against unwanted transgressive behaviour and expects all its students and staff to treat each other respectfully and demonstrate in their behaviour the values for which the college stands.

Unwanted transgressive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances and if it does occur, UCLL intends to take the unwelcome transgressive behaviour and its consequences seriously and deal with it, respecting all concerned.

 UCLL student, who encounter transgressive behaviour, you can count on support because of the university college. To this end, the university provides a hotline and easily accessible confidential counsellors.
