Unwanted transgressive behaviour is any behaviour that causes someone to no longer feel safe and respected because their personal boundaries are being violated:
- verbal or physical violence;
- (cyber)bullying;
- unwanted sexual behaviour;
but also: intimidation, stalking, discrimination, hate speech, racism and blackmail.
UCLL opposes undesirable transgressive behaviour and expects all its students and staff to treat each other with respect and to demonstrate the values that the university stands for in their behaviour.
Unwanted transgressive behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances and, if it does occur, UCLL will take the unwanted transgressive behaviour and its consequences seriously and address them with respect for all those involved.
UCLL students who encounter inappropriate behaviour can count on the support of the university college. To this end, the university college provides a reporting centre and easily accessible confidential advisors.
