FAQ - Troubles with signing in?

Just enrolled?

Did you just enroll as a student at UCLL?

It can take up to 24 houres before all applications are available for you.

At the moment of registration we got only enough data to generate an emailaddress for you.

After 2 houres logging on to https://owa.ucll.be will be possible.

At that moment https://shop.ucll.be is also available to order books and syllabi.

During the night following your registration we receive supplementary data and applications as Toledo, Intranet, SVS, SIS, ...  will become available for you.

 

 

Account not activated?

What do you need? 

  • Student card
  • The activation code you received via e-mail after registration. 

Instructions

  • Go to account.kuleuven.be to start the activation.
  • Click on "Activate account"
  • Enter your username (on the back of your student card) and click "Next".​
  • Fill out all boxes:
    • Your national register number (on your ID) or your date of birth if you don't have a Belgian identity card.
    • Your activation code (you received via e-mail).
    • Choose a password that meets the KU Leuven password policy.
  • Click "Next".


Please enter your private emailadres and/or phone number in case you forget your password. 

  • Now you can get started with your new account! It can take upto 24 hours before the activation is successful.

Forgot password?

When you forgot you password, you will have to request a new activation code and redo the activation procedure.

Request activation code

  • go to account.kuleuven.be
  • Click on "Forgot password".
  • Enter your username (u-, r-, s- or m- number).
  • A new activation code will be sent to your phone number or email address. You can use this code to reactivate your account and choose a new password.

In case you didn't provide a personal email address or phone number while activation your account, it is recommended to contact ICT support.

Forgotten your username?

You can find your username on the back of your student or employee card.

 

In case you can't find these, you can visit account.kuleuven.be and fill in your email address or phone number to receive a message with your username.

 

Je wachtwoord wijzigen?

Af en toe je wachtwoord wijzigen is sowieso een goed idee, soms is het ook noodzakelijk bv. wanneer je account werd misbruikt.

Om je wachtwoord aan te passen ga je naar account.kuleuven.be.

Maak je gebruik van een UCLL laptop, let dan goed op:
1. Schakel vooraf eerst je VPN in
2. Wijzig dan je wachtwoord
3. Vergrendel (Windows toest + L) en ontgrenden  je laptop met je nieuw wachtwoord.

Heb je deze stappen niet gevolgd? Dan gebruikt je laptop nog het oude wachtwoord. Herhaal de stappen om dit op te lossen.

STUDENT?

Log in using your r-, s-, m- or c-number (on the back of your student's card) and password.

STAFF MEMBER?

Log in using your u-number and password. Always check if your connection is secure. The address in the address bar should start with https://.

When you leave the intranet, log off and close your browser. Do this especially when using a public computer.
