Confidential counsellors for students and visitors

The confidential advisors are available to anyone who wishes to report a situation of undesirable transgressive behaviour involving one or more UCLL students.

They offer a listening ear and work with the person reporting the incident to determine what follow-up steps are possible and desirable.

The confidential advisors take a neutral and impartial stance, give advice and help to find the best possible solution to the problem at hand. Where possible, they opt for a restorative approach. This ensures that all those involved can move forward in confidence and with mutual respect.

The student confidential advisors work on a demand-driven basis. Every step that follows a question or report is prepared and discussed in consultation with those involved.

The confidential advisors are bound by professional secrecy. This means that they will only exchange information and take action with your approval. Everything that is said in a conversation will be treated with discretion.

Would you rather seek help outside UCLL or do you want to file a complaint with the police? Then you can count on advice and guidance from the confidential advisors. The same applies if you, as a student, want to file a complaint with the programme director responsible for your programme. The confidential advisor can provide you with more information if necessary and assist you in formulating the complaint.
