Step-by-step plan for installing Eduroam on Windows 10 devices

Two ways to set up Wi-Fi

Choose the appropriate installation method below based on your situation:

  • With internet access: You already have access to a network, for example via your home Wi-Fi, a guest network, or a previous Eduroam setup.
  • Without internet access: You are on campus but do not yet have Wi-Fi or network access.

Follow the instructions that match your situation to connect to Eduroam quickly and securely.

You have an internet connection

Setting up eduroam with internet access (home network, guest network, or a previous installation)

Step 1: Download the installation file

Download and run the installation file. You can find all installation files at intranet.ucll.be/eduroam.

Step 2: This installation only works if you have a UC Leuven-Limburg account.

Step 3: Enter your username and password

Step 4: Complete the installation

Step 5: Connect to eduroam

You can now connect to eduroam!

Did you accidentally enter the wrong password? You will only notice this when trying to connect in the final step. Simply run the installation again to correct it.

 

On campus without internet access

Installing Eduroam without an internet connection (offline installation)

Step 1: Connect to eduroam

Connect to the eduroam network on campus. 

Step 2: Verify the certificate

 

If the certificate is issued to radius.ucll.be, you can choose to always trust this certificate.

Step 3: Enter your username and password

Enter your username followed by @ucll.be (for example: r0123456@ucll.be). This is not your email address.

Step 4: Connect to eduroam

 

Per ongeluk een verkeerd wachtwoord gebruikt? Dat merk je pas bij het verbinden, in de laatste stap. Je kan dat rechtzetten door de installatie opnieuw uit te voeren. Ben je je wachtwoord vergeten? Reset het hier.
