Activate student ID card
When you receive a new student card, it needs to be activated. Once you activate your new card, your old card is disabled automatically.
Activate your student card
Go to card status, and activate your student card.
If the card with your card number is not in the list and you have performed the first step (card activation at KU Leuven with the QR code), try again the next day.
You can find your card number on the back of your new card.
Your balance
Your card balance is automatically tansfered to your new card.
Your old student card
Your old student card is disabled and unusable after activating your new card.
