The SAP Signavio Academic Editions are part of the SAP University Alliances and offer completely free access to the Signavio Process Manager. This allows students and teachers to visualize processes in BPMN or ArchiMate, simulate their own models and collaborate in a shared workspace. The tool is aimed at educational use: advanced features such as production reporting, document management or API integrations are limited or absent.
The academic environment can share public or anonymized data for research purposes.

The tool is fully web-based, so it works in modern browsers on Windows, macOS, Linux and even on mobile devices.
Completely free for students and teachers as long as the use is non-commercial and for educational or research purposes. Registration is required with a valid email address from your educational institution.

- After verification, you will receive login credentials and can start modeling right away
- Work in the browser: create model diagrams, simulate process flows and share models in teams
- Note: advanced features such as approval workflows are only available in commercial versions
