PyCharm is a comprehensive and user-friendly IDE from JetBrains for Python development. It offers intelligent code completion, error detection, an integrated graphical debugger, unit testing, refactoring tools and support for version control systems (including Git and SVN). In addition to pure Python, PyCharm supports web development with Django, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
The Professional Edition provides extras such as advanced web frameworks (Flask, FastAPI), integration with databases and scientific tools like Jupyter Notebooks and Anaconda. PyCharm runs on the IntelliJ platform and is available for Windows, macOS and Linux.
