ABOUT THIS SOFTWARE
Micro:bit is a low-cost microcontroller specifically developed for education in programming, electronics and STEM. The device features built-in LEDs, buttons, sensors (light, temperature, motion, compass) and Bluetooth. You write code using user-friendly online editors such as MakeCode (blocks, JavaScript) or Python Editor, and send it to the device via USB or Bluetooth. The system is ideal for beginner programmers and offers a lot of learning fun with tangible results.

Mobile apps: available via the App Store or Google Play under "micro:bit"
The micro:bit software and programming environments are completely free to use. You only need a micro:bit to run your code.
Connect your micro:bit via USB.
- Go to the MakeCode website and create your program.
- Click Download and drag the .hex file to the MICROBIT drive.
- Your program will automatically start on the board.
For mobile:
- Install the micro:bit app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Pair the device via Bluetooth.
- Program in the app and send the file wirelessly to your micro:bit.
