LibreOffice is an open-source alternative to Microsoft Office and includes programs such as Writer (word processing), Calc (spreadsheets), Impress (presentations), Draw (diagrams), Base (databases) and Math (formula editor).
It supports both the Open Document Format (ODF) and Microsoft Office formats (.docx, .xlsx, etc.). It is particularly suitable for educational and professional environments where cost, open standards or privacy are important.

Installation manual
- Go to the download page and choose your operating system automatically or manually.
- Click “Download” to save the installation file.
- Open the file and follow the installation wizard.
- (Optional) Also install the language pack for Dutch spell check.
- Start LibreOffice via the menu/start screen.
