ABOUT THIS SOFTWARE
Firewall Builder (FWBuilder) is an open source policy management tool that allows you to visually configure firewall rules for iptables (Linux), Cisco PIX, Cisco ASA, PF (OpenBSD) and more. It helps students and system administrators model firewall policies in a clear GUI. You work with objects (hosts, networks, services) and generate configurations without having to work directly in the CLI.

FWBuilder is completely free and open source. No login or license is required. Note: development largely stopped in 2013, but the software is still usable for educational purposes.
Installation manual
- Go to the SourceForge page and choose the installer for your operating system (.exe for Windows, .dmg for macOS, .deb/.rpm for Linux).
- Download and open the installation file.
- Follow the steps in the installation wizard.
- Start the software and begin creating objects and rules.
