About this software
With Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), you can use your own PC to connect to a virtual computer from home or elsewhere. Through this virtual PC, you have access to programs and facilities provided by the university. All of this happens over the internet in a fully secure manner.
Programs currently available on Azure Virtual Desktop:
- Kluwer
- Navision
- E4Progress
What do you need to use Azure Virtual Desktop?
- A personal device with Windows 10, version 21H2 or higher (including LTSC and IoT Enterprise), or Apple macOS 12.0 or higher
- Windows App
- Internet connection
- Access rights to the Azure Remote Desktop environment
Installing the Windows App
Windows:
Download and install the Windows App from the Microsoft Store. Once installed, open the app. You can visit Microsoft's website for more information.
After installation, you can subscribe to the UCLL environment by signing in with your r-number@ucll.be (or u-number@ucll.be) and corresponding password.
macOS:
Download and install the Windows App from the Mac App Store. Once installed, open the app. You can visit Microsoft's website for more information.
