About this software
TIA Portal (Totally Integrated Automation Portal) is Siemens' integrated engineering software for industrial automation. TIA Portal allows you to program and configure PLCs and to develop and manage automation projects.
The software is used within certain technical study programmes. UCLL has a limited number of licences available. Students who need the software as part of their study programme can use a licence provided by the school.
Installing and using the software
Would you like to install TIA Portal? Follow the installation instructions provided by your lecturer to make sure you install the correct version and configuration.
When using TIA Portal off campus, you need to connect to eduVPN. This free application provides a secure connection between your personal laptop and UCLL's licence server.
