Get started with your smartphone/tablet
With your smartphone, you can quickly and easily record a video. Read our easy tips for creating an awesome video, along with your creative inspiration.
- hold your phone in landscape mode
- avoid background noise
- record with highest possible resolution (4K, HD, ....)
- do not use the front-facing camera (used for selfies)
the camera on the back of your phone usually yields better quality - keep your phone still, if possible
use something/anything for support
have somebody help you when you want to film yourself - avoid backlight when filming something
the person in the video should not stand with his/her back to the window - pay attention when you transfer your video(s) from your smartphone/tablet
file transfer services (WeTransfer...) may compress images which may result in lesser quality;
you can use a cable or upload video(s) to MS Stream (no compression, Stream is included in your Office 365 pack)
