## ABOUT THIS SOFTWARE

GNS3 (Graphical Network Simulator -3) is an open source simulation platform commonly used in network technology training, such as Cisco certifications. It allows you to integrate real router and switch images (such as Cisco IOS) into a virtual environment and connect them to virtual and physical networks. With this, students can build and configure realistic network environments including routers, switches, firewalls and more, without expensive equipment.

The installation instructions for this software are explained during the lessons.



Installation manual

- Go to the GNS3 download page.
- Create a free account to access the download.
- Choose your operating system and download the installation package.
- Install both the GNS3 GUI and GNS3 VM (optional but recommended for better performance).
- Follow the installation wizard, launch GNS3 and configure the connection to the VM if needed.
