## ABOUT THIS software

FileZilla is an open source FTP client that allows you to upload or download files from a remote server, for example to manage a website or share documents.

The interface is clear, with a local and remote file structure side by side. It supports secure connections (SFTP/FTPS), drag and drop, and queues.

Installation manual

- Go to the download page via the link above.
- Select "Download FileZilla Client" (not Server) and your operating system (Windows/macOS/Linux).
- Choose the basic version (free), click "download".
- Open the installation file and follow the steps in the installation wizard.
- Start FileZilla and configure your server details (host, username, password, port).

The installation instructions for this software are explained during the lessons.
