 ### Reset your authenticator app?

 

 Can no longer use authenticator because your phone was lost, stolen or replaced?

 ### Change your password?

 

 Changing your password once in a while is a good idea anyway, but sometimes it is also necessary, e.g. when your account has been misused.

To change your password, go to [account.kuleuven.be](https://account.kuleuven.be/changePassword.html).

If you are using a **UCLL laptop**, pay close attention:   
1. Switch on your VPN beforehand  
2. Then change your password  
3. Lock (Windows key + L) and unlock your laptop with your new password.  
  
Didn't follow these steps? Then your laptop is still using the old password. Repeat the steps to resolve this.

 

 



 ### Just enrolled? 

 

 Did you just enroll as a student at UCLL?

It can take up to 24 houres before all applications are available for you. You will receive a "Welkom Moving Mind" e-mail as soon as everything is in order.

At the moment of registration we got only enough data to generate an emailaddress for you.

After 2 houres logging on to <https://owa.ucll.be> will be possible.

At that moment <https://shop.ucll.be> is also available to order books and syllabi.

During the night following your registration we receive supplementary data and applications as [Toledo](https://toledo.ucll.be), [Intranet](https://intranet.ucll.be), [SVS](https://svs.ucll.be), [SIS](https://sis.ucll.be), ... will become available for you.

 

 



 
Account not activated?

 

 ### What do you need? 

- Identity card (optional if you don’t have a Belgian ID)
- An activation link you received via e-mail after your registration.
- Your smartphone with the KU Leuven Authenticator app

### Instructions

- **Click on the activation link** you received via e-mail after your registration.
- **Fill out all boxes**:
    - Your national register number (on your ID) or your date of birth if you don't have a Belgian identity card.
    - Your activation code (you received via e-mail).
    - Choose a password that meets the KU Leuven password policy.
- Click "Next".  
    Please enter your **private emailadres and/or phone number** in case you forget your password.
- Log in with your username and the password you set up, to set up your KU Leuven Authenticator.  
    (your need your username that is displayed in the activation e-mail and on your studentcard)
- Now you can get started with your new account!

It can take upto 24 hours before the activation is successful.

  ## Student?

 

 Log in using your r-, s-, m- or c-number (on the back of your student's card) and password.



 

 

 

 

  ## Staff member?

 

 Log in using your u-number and password. Always check if your connection is secure. The address in the address bar should start with https://.

When you leave the intranet, log off and close your browser. Do this especially when using a public computer.
